Scott set out for a career in the Foreign Service, but the young man who grew up in the shadow of the Big Apple would find a home in show business instead. Raised in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Scott attended Rutgers College, earning a degree in Political Science and International Relations. While at Rutgers Scott worked for University President Edward Bloustein, in his “oval” office. While working for the president Scott was befriended by University Governor David “Sonny” Werblin. Mr. Werblin would be responsible for giving Scott his start in the talent agency industry. With guidance from Mr. Webrlin and the proper introduction, Scott landed his first job in New York with The William Morris Agency.

Scott continued his career in the talent game with the former commercials talent agency, Abrams-Rubaloff & Associates, as an assistant for Don Buchwald. An association that would last for more than thirty years, Scott was one of the seven original employees at Don Buchwald & Associates. During his tenure at Buchwald, Scott had the privilege of both working on behalf of major awarding winning actors and announcers, and developing new talent. Specializing in the voice over and celebrity areas of a booming commercial industry, Scott co-lead a talented team of agents and assistants who today can be found running their own departments in agencies across Manhattan.

After more than 30 years of representing some of the best in show business, Scott understands the critical importance of building and maintaining relationships – a part of the business he holds very special with some relationships going back more than 20 years. Scott began Linder and Company to provide a premier service to his clients, a service that brings the breadth of his experience, precise negotiation skills and the crucial personal relationships it takes to find success in this business. Scott looks forward to working for you, giving you the chance to realize your dream as he continues to realize his.
